The Great Rift, also known as The Dark Rift or The Dark River, is a fascinating section of non-luminous clouds within the Milky Way. It creates a sense of mystery and awe as it stretches across the night sky. In my photograph, I captured this ethereal phenomenon alongside a solitary tree, adding a touch of melancholy to the scene. The composition consists of a 2x2x3 tracked/stacked panorama, taken with a 50mm lens at f2.8, ISO1600, and a 120-second exposure.
